**Given:**

Time taken by one man to complete the work = 12 days

Time taken by one woman to complete the work = 18 days

Time taken by one boy to complete the work = 24 days

**Formula used:**

Efficiency = Work/(Time Taken)

**Calculation:**

Total work = LCM of 12, 18 and 24 = 72 units

Efficiency of 1 man = (72/12) = 6 units/day

Efficiency of 1 woman = (72/18) = 4 units/day

And Efficiency of 1 boy = (72/24) = 3 units/day

In 1 day, 3 women completes = 4 × 3 = 12 units

And, 2 boys completes = 3 × 2 = 6 units

In 1 day, 1 man, 3 women and 2 boys complete = 6 + 12 + 6 = 24 units

Now, Required time = (72/24) = 3 days

**∴ 1 man, 3 women and 2 boys complete the whole work in 3 days.**
